SAFF U-15 Women's Champ: Bangladesh Women draw with India Women

Bangladesh Under-15 Women’s Football team settled for a 1-1 draw with their counterpart India Under-15 Women’s Football team in their last league match of the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan on Sunday.
Amisa of India put her team ahead by a placing shot in the 25th minute of the play.
After one minute, Swapna Rani of Bangladesh leveled the margin by deceiving the Indian goalie.
Sunita of India came close to score in the 44th minute and 64th minutes.
On the other hand, Swapna Rani failed to increase the tally in the 74th minute of the match.
Bangladesh and India secured seven points each from their respective three matches. But by virtue of better goal difference India took the top spot and Bangladesh are breathing India’s neck.
Earlier, Bangladesh and India confirmed their final berth. The final will be held at the same venue on October 15.
