A-17 member delegation from Bangladesh led by Muhammad Nazmul Islam, Senior Assistant Secretary, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh won the best team award in the 8th South Asian University (SAU) Youth Festival 2015 held at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, India recently.
Md Arfanul Haque, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Education and Fatem Tul Zannat, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Education and students from 4 public and 5 private universities participated in the festival from Bangladesh side.
Bangladesh team participated in a number of events including light vocal, group song, debate, elocution, poster making and one act play. The team displayed outstanding performance. Therefore won the best team award.
Other participating countries were India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lnaka, Myanmar, Maldives and Mauritius.
