Bangladesh won the gold medal, two silver and two bronze medals in the 2nd Mount Everest Int’l Taekwondo Championship is now being held in Kathmandu,Nepal.
Mohammad Mizanur Rahman made the nation proud by winning gold medal in the +87KG category while Shahanaz Khatun and Anwar Hossain bagged silver medals in the 67 kg and 68kg respectively in the meet.
Besides, Sraboni Biswas and Usma Reaz Ramisa won secured bronze medals in the 73kg and 49 kg respectively, according to a message received here Taekwondo Federation last evening.
Earlier, Bangladesh achieved one gold, one silver and four bronze medals in the competition held in 2011.
