Bangladesh under-19 team faced batting jolt as they were tottering at 168 for 5 in 73 overs at stumps against host Sri Lanka under-19 team on the first day of second and final youth three-day Test match held on Monday at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.
Despite a good start by the openers, Bangladesh failed to keep its tempo losing wickets in the face of tight bowling attacks by the host side. Opener Sadman Islam top scored with 66 runs before he fell victim of run out while Joyraz Sheik added 31.
Mohammad Saifuddin and Sahanur Rahman were on the crease with 6 and 2 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
