UNB, Dhaka :

After a barren first half, forward Mannaf Rabby and Masuk Miah Zony scored one each for the home side.
Bangladesh striker Mannaf Rabby broke the deadlock in the 66th minute by an angular shot from goalmouth melee, off a rebounder of Sri Lankan defense (1-0).
Mohammad Ibrahim floated a free kick into the left corner of the box where Rohit Saker unleashed a volley but the ball rebounded off the Sri Lankan defense when unmarked Mannaf Rabbi placed the ball into the net by an angular shot.
Captain Masuk Miah Zoni doubled the lead in the 83rd minute by a penalty kick (2-0).
Earlier, Bangladesh came close to a strike in the 28th minute.
Forward Rohit Saker’s corner was pushed forward by winger Md Ibrahim when Sri Lnakan goalie Rishad Mohammed punched the ball. Unmarked forward Mannaf Rabby found the rebounder but the ball went straight to Rishad again.
