Despite a brave performance, the Bangladesh U-14 boys soccer team suffered a 1-2 goal defeat to Kawasaki Frontale of Japan in Super Mokh Cup held on Wednesday TSI Sports Arena, Cyberjaya, Selangor in Malaysia.
With eh defeat, Bangladesh failed to reach the cup knock-out stage and will play in the plate group.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost to host Malaysia Cougars in their opening match but bounced back in the tournament by beating Saswco FC of Indonesia by 3-2 goals in their second match.
