High flying Bangladesh will play Chinese Taipei in the first semifinal of the Beximco 4th Boys’ Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey’2016 at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
The match will kick-off at 12:30 pm Bangladesh time.
Favorite Pakistan will play their traditional rivals India in the 2nd semifinal at 3 pm on same day and same venue.
Earlier, hosts Bangladesh smartly reached the semifinal as Pool A champions with all win record upsetting former champions India by 5-4 goals and Oman by 10-0 goals.
Pakistan booked a seat for last four stages also with all-win run beating Chinese Taipei 6-1, China 6-0 and Hong Kong 14.
In other classification matches on Thursday, Oman will play Hong Kong at 10 am.
