ICC U-19 Warm-up: Bangladesh to play England today

Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team will play England Under-19 side in the 2nd and last warm-up match today (Monday) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup beginning on Wednesday.
Hosts Bangladesh will play the opening match of the ICC U-19 World Cup against South Africa on Wednesday (January 27) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Earlier, the young Tigers made a good practice outplaying Zimbabwe by a huge 63 runs in the first warm up match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium last Saturday.
Bangladesh U-19 team batted first after winning the toss and piled up a good total of 284 runs for 9 in stipulated 50 overs, featuring a superb century of 102 runs by top order batsman Nazmul Hossain Shanta.
Later, Bangladesh forced Zimbabwe to fold their innings at 221 runs for 7 in allocated 50 overs, despite a run-a-ball 123 by one down batsman R Murray
Five more warm-up matches will be held on Monday at different venues across the country.
Namibia will face Zimbabwe at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong, Afghanistan will play New Zealand at BKSP, Nepal will encounter Sri Lanka at BKSP ground-2, Ireland will meet Canada at BKSP ground 3 while India will play arch-rival Pakistan at BKSP ground-4.
