Bangladesh will play another FIFA International Football series in December.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will arrange the series.
The matches are likely held on December 12 and December 15.
The BFF has invited three teams including Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives to take part in the Series. Of them, one team will compete in the series against hosts Bangladesh.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation Md Abu Nayeem Shohag said, ” We want to stage the series with the one team among Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. If two teams want to take part in the football meet the competition will be Tri-Nation series. But probably it will be two-team series.”
Bangladesh team will play against Qatar in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2022 and AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers 2023 on December 4. After the match, Bangladesh team will return to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh played a two-match FIFA International Football series against Nepal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on November 13 and November 17. Bangladesh defeated Nepal by two goals to nil in the first match on November 13 and played a goalless draw with Nepal on November 17. Bangladesh clinched the series 1-0.
