Bangladesh would march forward with Prime Minister (PM) Sheik Hasina’s developmental vision, speakers said.
“Bangladesh is on the way to further development under the charismatic and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” speakers said at a meeting.
‘National Implementation Committee for Celebration of the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’ organised the discussion at its office on the occasion of the PM’s 72nd birth anniversary.
Committee Chairman National Professor Rafiqul Islam presided over the meeting while Director General of International Mother Language Institute Professor Jinnat Imtiaz Ali and committee Chief Coordinator, Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, were present, among others.
“The nation is recalling the far-sightedness of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the premier’s birthday as the country’s development was possible only for her,” said Islam.
“She made the country’s progress following the ideology of Bangabandhu,” he said adding, “It is Almighty’s kindness to us that we have such a leader like her.”
Imtiaz Ali said, “Sheikh Hasina has made the country a hunger and poverty free nation.”
“The wheel of the country was running backwards when Bangabandhu was killed with his family members on August 15, 1975 but a new path was created in 1981, when the daughter of Bangabandhu returned to the country and took over leadership,” he said.
