BSS, Dhaka :
Motivated Bangladesh women’s cricket team will take on host Malaysia in their last league match of the ACC T20 Asia Cup scheduled to be held today (Saturday) at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The match kicks off at 12 pm (BST).
Bangladesh are now in third place in the six-team table but are tied on six points with Pakistan and India, both of whom they have beaten earlier in the tournament.
They lag behind on net run-rate, but the Tigresses look in good position for the final in their last league match is against Malaysia, the comparatively weaker side, which are placed at the bottom rank of the points table with four losses from their four outings.
Pakistan will also play their arch-rival India today, that means only one of them can finish with eight points, and even if Sri Lanka win against Thailand Saturday’s match, Bangladesh will be ahead if they able to beat Malaysia.
