Bangladesh to face India, Pakistan in practice matches

The curtain of the ICC Champions Trophy will be raised on June 1 at Kennington Oval in London, the capital city of England. Bangladesh will take on hosts England in the opening match. Bangladesh will also compete in a Tri-Nation series from May 12 to May 24 in Ireland. Bangladesh, Ireland and New Zealand will participate in the Tri-Nation series.
Before taking part in the inaugural match of the prestigious gala cricket competition, Bangladesh will play a preparation match against Pakistan and another against India.
Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of BCB Akram Khan confirmed this matter to a local website recently.
Akram Khan said, ” Bangladesh team will take part in a 10-day long conditioning camp at Sussex in England to adapt with the weather and environment of England. Then Bangladesh will participate in the Tri-Nation series.”
He said, ” Bangladesh team will leave the city for England on April 26. Before taking part in the ICC Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will play a practice match against Pakistan and another against India.
