Bangladesh will be hunger free country within 2030, said the Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Friday.
“The country has not yet free from hunger. The incumbent government is working relentlessly with a vision to make Bangladesh a hunger-free country by 2030” said the minister while addressing the 15th National Convention and Seminar of Bangladesh Agro-Economist Association at Bangladesh Agriculture Research Council auditorium in the city.
Addressing as the chief guest, the minister said that the food demand of every people will be ensured within the time frame. The target has been set to achieve an overall economic sovereignty by 2050, he also said.
