Bangladesh Under-15 Football team thrashed Sri Lanka Under-15 Football team by 7-1 goals in their second match of the SAFF Under-15 Championship at Kalyani Stadium in Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal on Friday.
Al Amin of Bangladesh put his team ahead in the 32nd minute of the game.
Rakibul Islam doubled the margin after dribble past four Lanka booters in the 42nd minute of the play.
After two minutes, Al Amin scored his second goal deceiving the Lanka goalie.
After the lemon-break, Al Mirad made it 4-0 by a header in the 48th minute of the clash. Ishan Muhammad Murhan of Sri Lanka reduced the margin into 4-1 in the 50th minute.
Then Al Amin fulfilled his hat-trick by a penalty shot in the 59th minute of the match.
Rabbi of Bangladesh made it 6-1 in the 67th minute of the encounter.
Al Amin put the last nail into Lanka’s coffin by scoring a goal in the 71st minute of the match.
Earlier, Bangladesh defeated Bhutan by 5-2 goals in their first match on Friday last.
Bangladesh will take on Nepal on August 27. The red-and-green out-fit will face hosts India on August 29.
A total of five teams are taking part on the single league basis first phase. Top two teams will get the tickets of the final, which is scheduled to be held on August 31.
