Bangladesh Test squad leaves for Zimbabwe today

Bangladesh Test squad will leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe today to play the only Test match against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club Ground in Harare of Zimbabwe. It is a good news for the members of Bangladesh Test squad that all the members of Bangladesh Test squad have tested negative for coronavirus. The members underwent Covid-19 test on Sunday and they got their corona report on Monday. Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Russell Domingo, Pace Bowling Coach Ottis Gibson, Fielding Coach Ryan Cook and the newly appointed Batting Coach Ashwell Prince and newly appointed Spin Bowling Coach Rangana Herath will join the Test squad.
Bangladesh Test squad will take part in their practice session after they arrive in Zimbabwe. The lone Test match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will be held from July 7 to July 11. The match begins at 1.30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time) (BST).
Before taking part in the only Test match against the African side, Bangladesh squad will play a two-day practice match in Zimbabwe on July 3 and 4. The venue for the practice match and the squad of Zimbabwe yet to be finalized.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 17-member Bangladesh Test Squad. Later, BCB included Mahmudullah Riyad in the Test squad. Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is now in United States of America (USA) with his wife and children. Shakib Al Hasan will join the Test squad from USA.
