A-six member Bangladesh team left here for Oman on Saturday night to participate in the Davis Cup Asia/Occania Zone, Group-IV matches in Muscat on January 27-February 4.
Players from 12 Asian countries-Bahrain, Bangladesh, Guam, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Singapore, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and hosts Oman-will participate in the ITF-approved meet.
Bangladesh team comprise of four players and two officials.
Members of Bangladesh Tennis team: Neaz Ahmed (Manager), Rokon Uddin Ahmed (non-playing captain), Amol Roy, Dipu Lal, Ranjan Ram and Mohammad Akhter Hossain Rana (players).
Bangladesh team will return home on February 5.
