Bangladesh Teachers Association, Sariakandi Upazila committee in a human chain in front of the Upazila Press Club on Wednesday protests the attack on its General Secretary Mamunur Rashid, headmaster of a local Karitala SH High School, and killing of his son. They demand exemplary punishment to the miscreants who attacked the teacher and his son Hafeez Md. Rakibul Hasan Ridoy at night before the Eid-ul-Azha. Ridoy (30) died next morning while Mamunur has now been in treatment at Bogra Medical College.
