Sports Reporter :Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team will take on Scotland Under-19 Cricket team in their second Group A match at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar today. The match starts at 9.00 am.Earlier, Bangladesh Under-19 team defeated defending champions South Africa Under-19 team by 43 runs at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong in the inaugural match of Group A on January 27, while Scotland Under-19 team lost to Namibia Under-19 team by nine wickets in their first match of Group A at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on January 29.Bangladesh’s target is to become champions in the group phase. The Young Tigers on that way after beating stronger South Africa.All-rounder Saifuddin of Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team said, ” If we want to move into the quarterfinal, we have to earn better run rate after beating Scotland. We shall try to record a massive win against Scotland.”If Bangladesh win the today’s match, Bangladesh will reach the quarterfinals remaining one match.On the other hand, if Scotland lose to Bangladesh, Scotland will be ousted from the tournament.Captain of Scotland Under-19 Cricket team Neil Flack said, ” We can do a big challenge to Bangladesh. The first day of the first match was a bad day for us. Cricket is a funny game. Anything can happen. Who knows that Scotland reach the quarterfinal making an upset.”
