Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s National Football team will take on Japan Under-16 Women’s National Football team in their second Group-B match of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship at IPE Stadium in Chonburi, Thailand today. The match kicks-off at 4.00 pm.
Earlier, Bangladesh made a sorrow start as they suffered a 9-0 goals defeat to North Korea in their first Group-B match at Chonburi Stadium in Chonburi, Thailand on September 11.
On the other hand, Japan made an auspicious start as they registered an easy 5-0 goals against Australia in their first Group-B match at IPE Stadium in Chonburi, Thailand on the same day.
Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s National Football team Golam Rabbani Choton said, “We played against the world champions. My girls’ were under pressure before they faced stronger North Korea. My girls could not take pressure in the proper time. So, the difference of goal was big. My girls could not perform their usual football. Our goalkeeper conceded some funny goals. So, our team suffered a massive defeat.”
Choton said, ” Japan are favourites. My girls are prepared to present their best football.”
Japan showed their capability after thrashing Japan by 5-0 goals in their first match.
It is time to watch how the girls defend against Japan to suffer from massive defeat.
