Bangladesh take on Australia in first T20I today

Motivated Bangladesh will take on Australia in the first Twenty20 International (T20I) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur today. The match begins at 6.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). State-owned television channel BTV, private satellite sports channel T Sports, private satellite channel GTV will telecast the match live.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh faced Australia in four T20I matches. The Aussies won all the matches.
Experienced Mahmudullah Riyad will lead the hosts, while wicketkeeper-batsman Mathew Wade will lead the visitors.
Bangladesh will play the five-match T20I series against Australia without their key players Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das. On the other hand, Australia will play the series without their good number of experienced batsmen.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) issued a press release on Sunday night. In that press release BCB named the 17-member Bangladesh T20I squad, which will take part in the five-match T20I series against Australia.
