It was another miserable day for Bangladesh athletes as Bangladesh national hockey team suffered an embarrassing 2-3 defeat against Oman in the Asian Games Hockey Competition held on Tuesday at Seonhak Hockey Stadium.
Despite Bangladesh led 1-0 at the short whistle, it was a very pathetic display by Bangladesh hockey team as they look tired and there was hardly any real combination through out the match.
Oman took their time to settle and came back strongly in the third period, not only they equalized but also shot into the lead and never looked back. Bangladesh defense made a biggest blunder as they conceded a penalty corner with only two second and Oman scored the cherished third goal.
Bangladesh made some desperate attempts in the last five minutes, earning two penalty corners but to the dismay of the Bangladesh camp, they failed to find the cherished goals.
Bangladesh finished at the 8th position while Oman celebrated their winning against Bangladesh by finishing at the seventh position.
