Bangladesh SC and Wari Club posted wins in their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Tuesday.
In the day’s first match, Bangladesh Sporting Club edged past Dhaka Wanderers Club by 2-1 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Javindor Singh and Iqbal Nadir Prince of Bangladesh Sporting Club scored one goal each.
On the other hand, Mustafizur Rahman Lalon of Dhaka Wanderers Club netted one goal.
In the day’s second match, Wari Club eased past Azad Sporting Club by 5-2 goals at the same venue.
Billal Hossain of Wari Club scored two goals and his teammates Nepuni Nitish, Suprojit, Nizam Uddin successfully struck one time each on the board.
Jisan and Dabashish Roy of Azad Sporting Club netted one goal each.
