Staff Reporter: Bangladesh on Friday reported six more coronavirus deaths while it detected 94 Covid-19 positive patients in the last 24 hours.
“The death toll reached to 27, while the total numbers of covid-19 infected patients are now at 424,” Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research said in a regular press briefing in Dhaka.
This is the highest number of deaths due to Covid-19 in a day so far in the country.
The IEDCR Director said that total of 33 patients have recovered from the disease so far but there were no recovered patients in the last 24 hours.
