Staff Reporter: Bangladesh on Saturday reported three more death from coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
It also detected 58 people as coronavirus positive in the same period; Health Minister Zahid Maleque said it in a press briefing through video conference in Dhaka.
With the new cases the death toll now stands at 30, while the total number of infection cases has reached 482.
A total number of 954 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, the minister also said.
The minister asked people to stay home and follow the directives of the health ministry as well the directives of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Professor Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Director, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said in the very same briefing that more three Covid-19 infected persons has been recovered and released from hospitals in the last 24 hours which made the recovered peoples’ numbers to 36.
