Bangladesh Police defeat West Bengal Men’s team by 36-28 goals in their Friendship Handball match at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Thursday.
The winners led the first half by 22-14 goals.
Mahbub, Arif of Bangladesh Police scored eight goals each and their teammates Mohon, Helal netted five goals each.
Darshan Bura of West Bengal Men’s team scored ten goals and his teammate Jasandip Modgil netted nine goals.
Meanwhile, BJMC beat West Bengal Women’s team by 24-20 goals at the same venue on the same day.
The winners had a 13-9 goals lead in the first session.
Sahida of BJMC scored eight goals and her teammate Shirina scored five goals.
Shila Kumari of West Bengal Women’s team scored five goals and her teammates Shahnaz, Khushbu Kumari netted four goals each.
