Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team, led by new captain Jahanara Alam, will play touring Zimbabwe Women’s team in the first match of the two-match T20 series at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar today (Tuesday). The visiting side which arrived in Dhaka on Sunday night has already reached Cox’s Bazar to play the match.Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed pace bowler Jahanara Alam as the new captain of the National Women’s team for the Twenty20 cricket series. The Board has also named Ayesha Rahman as the vice captain.The 2nd and last T20 match between two teams will be held on Thursday (Nov 19) at the same venue.
