The Yonex-Sunrise Bangladesh Open International Badminton Tournament, organized by Bangladesh Badminton Federation under the supervision of Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia Confederation, will begin on December 1 at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium here.Twelve countries– USA, Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and host Bangladesh -will compete in five events-men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.Yonex-Sunrise will sponsor the five-day tournament. Besides, Beximco Pharma, Computer Source and Islami Bank Limited named co-sponsors while Pepsi and Aquafina named as drink partners and Bangfladesh Cricket Board named as event partner.
