Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam has said that in the global context of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, the development plans adopted in different countries of the world have failed but Bangladesh is on the right track.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of Jamuna Bank Dialysis
Center as the chief guest at Laksam in Cumilla on Friday. He said different countries of the world have not been able to take any plan so far due to Covid-19.
But Bangladesh is making a roadmap of development by planning and according to that plan, the work of building a developed and prosperous Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is moving forward, he added.With Chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation and Jamuna Executive Committee Alhaj Noor Mohammad in the chair, the function was attended by Deputy Commissioner Abul Fazal Mir, Superintendent of Police Syed Nurul Islam, Chief Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Md Abdur Rashid Khan, chairman of Jamuna Bank Fazlur Rahman and its Managing Director Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed as special guests.
