The Bangladesh Olympic football team left for Nepal on Wednesday to take part in the 13th South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Kathmandu and Pokhara from December 1-10.
The football events of the competition will be held in Kathmandu from December 1-10.
Bangladesh are pitted in group A along with Bhutan and host Nepal and will play their opening group A match against host Nepal on December 1 and then Bhutan in their group second and last match Bhutan on December 3.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals scheduled to be held on December 8 while the final and place deciding matches will be held on December 10.
All the matches will be held at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu.
