Sports Reporter :Highly motivated and confident Group ‘A’ Champions Bangladesh will face Group ‘D’ runners-up Nepal in the first quarter-final of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup (CWC) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today.The match starts at 9.00 am.The Junior Tigers bagged maximum six points from three Group ‘A’ matches while ‘Giant Killer’ Nepal earned four points from three Group ‘D” matches.Captain of Bangladeshi youngsters Mehedi Hasan Miraz said, ” Bangladesh did not play in the semi-final. If we win against Nepal, it will be a great achievement for us.”Miraz said, ” We are now in such a stage that we have no 2nd option but to win. If we lose to our counterpart, we shall be ousted from the title race. We have to give more concentration and we have to be more conscious. It is now knock-out phase. If we win, we shall move to the top. On the other hand, if we lose to Nepal, we have to play in the bottom stage.”He said, ” We have no idea about Nepal. We don’t take Nepal lightly. As they have qualified for the quarter-final stage, so, they are good side.”Coach of Nepal Jagat Bahadur said, “Bangladeshi youngsters are good side. They are very strong. We want to perform our best against them. It is very challenging for us to beat them because Bangladesh are Test playing nation. Players of our team are very much disciplined. We hope that tomorrow (Friday) we shall show a positive approach.”
