Bangladesh National Under-15 Football team left the city for Nepal on Wednesday to take part in the SAFF Under-15 Championship scheduled to be held from August 18 to August 27. BFF official informed that Bangladesh National Under-15 Football team reached at Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal on the same day.
A total of six teams splitting into two groups will compete in the football tournament. Defending champions Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka are in Group-A, while India, Nepal, Maldives are in Group-B.
Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their first Group-A match on August 18 and then face Bhutan in their last Group-B match on August 22.
The champions of Group-A will take on the runners-up of Group-B in the first semi-final on August 25, while the champions of Group-B will meet the runners-up of Group-A in the second semi-final on the same day.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on August 27.
