Bangladesh became the unbeaten champion of Group B and sealed the semifinal spot in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Emerging Teams Cup after crushing Nepal by eight wickets in the at BKSP on Monday. Nepal was bowled out for 138 and Bangladesh, who beat Hong Kong and India earlier in the group phase, made it a cakewalk, reaching the target in just 24 overs, making 140-2. Mohammad Naim Sheikh, who hogged the spotlight during Bangladesh’s three-match T20 series against India recently, gave the side a solid start, hitting 45 off 56 with six fours.
