Bangladesh men’s, women’s handball teams leave for Pakistan today

Bangladesh men’s and women’s handball teams will leave here for Pakistan today (Dec 1) to participate in the IHF Trophy Tournament to be held in Faisalabad on December 3-7.
Bangladesh, taking part in the meet at the invitation of International Hockey Federation made one and a half months training ahead of the tournament, organized by Pakistan Handball Association.
Exim Bank Limited are providing dresses, shoes and kits to both the men’s and women’s teams. The photo session of the teams was held today (Sunday) at the Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh men’s team: Jahangir Hossain (Manager), Kamrul Islam Kiron, Mushfiqul Ahsan (coaches) and referee-Asadul Islam.
Players: Sohag Hossain Arif (captain), Ahmed Zabir, Ebad Ali, Mohammad Imran, Tamim Shahriar, Sajedul Islam Sourav, Sohel Rana, Elias Sheikh, Mehedi Hasan, Shamsuddin Sunny, Nazmul Hasan, Rabiul Awal, Shakir Samir Emon and Sohanur Rahman
Women’s team: Lajul Nahar Karim (Manager), Amjad Hossain, Anwar Azam Sarker (coaches), Shafiqul Islam (referee).
Players – Tripti (captain), Falguni Biswas, Amena Akhter, Sumi Begum, Shirin Khatun, Jolly Khatun, Kohinoor Akhter, Habiba Akhter Rupa, Tabassum Tamanna Pinky, Shahida Banu, Sifa, Rubina Begum, Rahima Khatun and Masuda Akhter.
