Bangladesh under-15 team will take on Bhutan in their second and last group match of the SAFF U-15 Championship scheduled to be held today at ANFA complex in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu.
The boys of red and green already confirmed their last four berth of the championship, courtesy of Bhutan’s 5-0 win against Sri Lanka.
A draw in the Bhutan-Sri Lanka match would have been enough to see Bangladesh through, but the Himalayan kingdom thrashed the islanders 5-0 to settle the two qualifying spots from the group.
Bangladesh had won their first group match against Sri Lanka 4-0, thanks to Faisal Ahmed Fahim’s brilliant hat-trick.
Bangladesh will take on Bhutan on Tuesday to decide champions and runners-up spot.
