Bangladesh National Football team started their Yunnan ASEAN International Football Open Tournament campaign with a 2-3 defeat against Hantharwady United FC of Myanmar in Mangshi city on Friday.
Nabib Newaj Zibon put Bangladesh ahead in the 35th minute off a long throw-pass from Rayhan Hasan (1-0).
Aung Mge Tgea leveled the margin in the first half injury time utilising a Bangladesh player Sohel’s miscued back pass (1-1).
The first half was locked in 1-1.
Bangladesh captain Mamunul Islam Mamun scored the 2nd one for Bangladesh in the 56th minute (2-1).
Aung Aung Do scored the equaliser for Myanmar’s team in the 71st minute (2-2).
Thiha Aung sealed the win scoring third one in the 80th minute (2-3).
Bangladesh will play the next match against Lijian (China) Football Team on November 22.
