Bangladesh National Football team, now touring South Korea as part of their preparations for the Asian Games in Indonesia, conceded 0-2 goals defeat against K League side Gwangju Football Club in the first practice match at the Mokpo International Training Centre ground on Wednesday afternoon.
Gwangju Football Club dominated the first half of the FIFA International Friendly match by a solitary goal scored by Chong in the 22nd minute while Sabio Habisonscored one more goal in the stoppage time of the last half (90 +3 minute).
After the match, Head Coach of the Bangladesh team Jamie Day said, “Gwangju Football Club are a very strong team, but our team also fought very strongly with their opponents.”
“I’m satisfied with the way my team played the match. Our boys made some mistakes in the match but in the next match, we won’t do any mistake and will play much better,” he said.
