Bangladesh Liberation War portrayed in Malayalam movie

To mark the 68th Republic Day celebrations, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal unveiled the first look of the poster of his upcoming patriotic film, 1971: Beyond Borders.
The action-packed poster shows Mohanlal engaging the enemy forces on the frontline. “The battle of emotions begins here, sharing with you all first look poster of 1971: Beyond Borders,” Mohanlal posted on his Twitter page while releasing the poster. The film will be based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. The shooting of the film is going on at a brisk pace. Majority of the portions were shot in the Rajasthan desert, and on the huge sets resembling army camps and bunkers, created by Saloo K George. The shooting also took place in Ottapaalam and Pattambi. The film crew will also travel to Georgia in order to shoot some portions of the film.
Mohanlal will reprise the character of Colonel Mahadevan in this movie. The movie is a directorial venture of Major Ravi, and is produced by Haneef Mohammed, under the production banner Red Rose Creations.
According to the latest update, the movie makers released the first poster of the movie, and it got a lot of positive reviews. The first look depicted Mohanlal in an army man avatar. The poster was shared by Mohanlal on his Twitter handle.
