Bangladesh, India to exchange traditional medicines

Bangladesh and India will swap all kinds of traditional medicines and also exchange experts and physicians for conducting trainings.
Bangladesh signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India at the 32nd meeting of the Ministers of Health of World Health Organisation South-East Asia Region (WHO-SEAR) and the 67th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia started at Hotel Sonargaon in the city today.
Under the agreement, recognised institutions of both the countries will provide scholarships on education to each other.
Health Secretary MM Niaz Uddin and Secretary of the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturapathy Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH), India Shri Nilanjan Sanyal signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides.
