State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan on Tuesday said road transit between Bangladesh and India will be started very to meet the demands of both the governments.
Discussions on the issue were held,’ he added while addressing a meeting marking international customs day held at customs auditorium at Benapole.
Jamal Hossain, customs commissioner, Jessore chaired the meeting. It was addressed among others by FMA Abdullah, customs commissioner, Benapole, Lt Col Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion, Jessore, Ashraful Alam Liton, mayor, Benapole Municipality, Firoj Ahmed, Additional Customs Commissioner, Benapole, Asadul Haque, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Revenue, Jessore, Shafin Mahmud, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Jessore and Mafizur Rahman Sazon, President, Benapole Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association.
