Bangladesh-India Nazrul Conference 2015 will begin in the country today.
The conference will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Feni from November 25 to December 3, said a press release of Nazrul Academy.
This will be a reflection of the government cultural exchange agreement with India.
Jatiya Sangsad Deputy Speaker Advocate M Fazle Rabbi Mian will inaugurate the conference at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the city.
Marking the event, functions will be held at National Music and Dance Auditorium of the Shilpakala Academy at 5 pm on November 25 and 26.
Nazrul Academy President and eminent folk researcher Dr. Ashraf Siddiqui will preside over the functions.
Poet Nazrul’s descendant Subarna Kazi will attend at the function as an artiste.
