Bangladesh national hockey team will leave here for China tomorrow (Aug 3) to play eight preparatory matches against different teams as part of their preparation for the Hero 10th Men’s Asia Cup’ 2017 schedued for October 12-22 in Dhaka.
Eight leading teams of Asia-India, Pakistan, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, China, Oman and hosts Bangladesh-will compete in the eleven-day meet.
Bangladesh put in strong Group A of the Asian meet alongwith Indian, Pakistan and Japan while Group B team comprises South Korea, Malaysia, China and Oman.
Bangladesh will play stroger Pakistan in their first match on the opening day.
Bangladesh hockey team will return home on August 19.
