Bangladesh has ample scope to send doctors, besides workers, to Oman, a major destination of remittance flow to the country.
This was stated by Omani Ambassador to Bangladesh Ta’eeb Salim Abdullah al Alawi when he paid a courtesy call on Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they also discussed about bilateral relations, formation of parliamentary friendship group and development in the fields of trade and commerce, education, power and agriculture of the two countries, an official release said here today.
The Speaker said Oman is a close friend of Bangladesh and the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Oman would be strengthened in future through establishing a parliamentary friendship group.
