A workshop on Introducing new technology from Bangladesh forest research Institute was held at the Conference room of Deputy Commissioner office on Thursday .
Mezba uddin Ahmed Deputy Commissioner was Present as Chief guest, AKM Hafiz Akter Police Supper of Chittagong was present as special guest.
Dr. Shahin Akter, Chief research officer Presided over the Meeting.M.Zohirul Alam Publicity officer , Act as Moderator. Government officer from different office ,representative of NGO,Head of Schools, Journalist, Representative of the benefissay of this technology was present in the Meeting.
Divisional Forest officer Mohammed Sohidullah and Dr. Daiji Biswas Introduce the forest Management and forest resource technology. The technology that was Introduce are Bamboo Plantation technology,Wood processing by sowler, Mother tree selection, development of Nerssary and Preventation of insect Management system and development of robber wood by using technology.
Deputy Commissioner Mezbauddin said that there is no alternative of research for development and thanks the researcher of bangladesh Forest research Institute for their outstanding performence.
The police supper said that only tree plantation can save our nature from the digester. So he urged the researcher to continue their research work for forest.
