Bangladesh National Football team will leave here for Bishkek Friday morning to play their away match of the FIFA World Cup /AFC Asia Cup Qualifiers against host Kyrgyzstan on October 13 at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek in a hope to perform improved show.
Italian head coach of Bangladesh team Fabio Lopez included uncapped forward Nabib Newaz Jibon in his 23-member squad.
Jibon is the lone new face in the squad. “We are not scared of Kyrgyzstan, we respect them as opponents and we want to show an improved performance at Bishkek: said Fabio Lopez at the BFF House during the declaration of the national team Thursday afternoon.
Apart from head coach, BFF vice-president cum chairman of the National Teams Committee Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, Bangladesh team leader Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, team manager Amirul Islam Babu, captain Mamunul Islam Mamun also spoke on the occasion.
Bangladesh lost to Kyrgyzstan by 3-1 goals in their home match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on June 11.
After playing four group matches, Bangladesh remained at the bottom in the five-team group securing only one point after playing 1-1 draw in their home match against Tajikistan on June 16.
Asian champions and world cup playing Australia top the group list with all-win record collecting full nine points from three matches. Jordan followed them with seven points from three encounters.
