Bangladesh finished runners-up in the 3rd South Asian Basketball Championship losing 80-73 points to host Nepal in the final match on Sunday held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Bangladesh stretched the first period of play as they took a narrow 40-38 points lead at the breather.
Rashaduzzaman was the top scorer with 19 points for Bangladesh while Tareq supported him with 123 points.
India emerged as champion in the tournament while Sri Lanka and Nepal finished third and fourth position respectively.
