The Bangladesh Under-19 team take on their Afghanistan counterpart in their opening group B match of the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup T20 scheduled to be held today (Thursday) at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh, which drawn with Afghanistan and Singapore and Pakistan in group B, will play their second group match against Singapore on Friday (December 16) at Galle International Stadium and meet their third and last group match against Pakistan on December 18 at the same venue.
All group matches will be played on December 15, 16 and 18 while the semi-finals will be worked out on December 20 and 21.
The tournament will go on till December 23 with the final to be played under lights at R. Premadasa International Stadium.
Apart from host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Singapore and Malaysia are taking part in the tournament.
