Bangladesh eves storm into Asian Games Kabaddi semifinals

Women Kabaddi team once again hogged the headlines as they made Bangladesh proud by marching into the semifinals Asian Games Kabaddi against host South Korea with a convincing 30-18 points win on Monday at Songdo Giobal University.
Bangladesh team are at least assured of a medal even if they do not make the final as both semifinals would be awarded bronze medals. They will face winner of Iran and Thailand tie in the second semifinal on October1.
Some of the members of Bangladesh cricket team led by Mashrafee Bin Mortaza , Shakib al Hasan , Anamul Haque Bijoy were present at the kabbadi stadium to cheer the Bangladesh Kabaddi girls.
The first half saw Koreans put up a brave as Bangladesh led 14-11 at the breather.
Bangladesh regrouped themselves led by Fatema Ahktar Polly, Sharmeen Shaheen Ara and Baby they took the game to Koreans and Second half saw Bangladesh scored 16 points while Koreans could managed only seven points.
Sharmeen and Shaheen Ara looked impressive in the Bangladesh defense.
Bangladesh earned 12 lonas while Koreans had to remain satisfied with 12 bonus points.
