Bangladesh Women’s Handball team left the capital for Thailand Monday afternoon to participate in the four-nation IHF Trophy Tournament’2015, beginning in Bangkok on Wednesday.
Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and host Thailand will compete in the four-day meet, organized by Thailand Handball Association under the co-operation of International Handball Federation.
Bangladesh Women’s Handball Team emerged unbeaten champions in last year’s IHF Trophy Tournament’2014 held in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Bangladesh Eves handball team comprises 13 players and seven officials.
Members of Bangladesh team: Officials- Lajul Nahar Karim (manager), Amjad Hossain and Anwar Azam Sarker (coach), AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Zakir Hossain, Asaduzzaman Kohinoor and Jahangir Hossain (BHF representatives).
Players: Falguni Biswas, Amena Akhter, Sumi Begum, Shirin Khatun, Habiba Akhter Rupa, Tabassum Tamana Pinki, Shahida Banu, Sifa, Rubina Begum, Rahima Khatun, Masuda Akhter, Nishat Nabila and Purnima Rani.
