Bangladesh was unanimously elected as chairman of North Indian Ocean Hydrographic Commission (NIOHC) for 2015-2016 at a meeting of the commission on March 18 in the Omani capital Muscat.
A two-member delegation from Bangladesh Navy headed by Director Hydrography Captain M I Haque, (H), NDC, PSC, BN participated in the 15th meeting of the commission on March 15-18.
