Bangladesh Cricket (Test) team will leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe tomorrow to play the lone Test match against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club Ground in Harare of Zimbabwe. The Test match between Bangladesh and the African side will be held from July 7 to July 11. The Test match begins at 1.30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time) (BST). Bangladesh will play three ODI matches and three T20I matches against Zimbabwe.
The Tigers will play a two-day practice match on July 3 and July 4.
Bangladesh Cricket team will take part in their practice session after they arrive in Zimbabwe.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will join the Bangladesh Cricket (Test) team in Zimbabwe from United States of America (USA). Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 17-member Test squad for the only Test match against Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, The BCB included Mahmudullah Riyad in the Test squad on Saturday last.
Bangladesh Test squad: Mominul Haque (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Sadman Islam, Saif Hassan, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Liton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan, Abu Jayed, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain and Shoriful Islam.
The other cricketers, who will compete in the three One Day International (ODI) matches and three Twenty20 International (T20I) will leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe on July 9.
The members of the Test squad underwent Covid-19 test on Sunday.
Bangladesh will play first, second and third ODI matches against Zimbabwe on July 16, July 18 and July 20 respectively. All the ODI matches will start at 1.30pm BST. Bangladesh will play first, second and third T20I matches against Zimbabwe on July 23, 25 and July 27 respectively. All the T20I matches will begin at 4.30pm BST. All the ODI and T20I matches will take place at Harare Sports Club Ground.
